Youth Summer Camp
taking a break this year...
Even Summer Camps sometimes need a vacation!
Koinonia's summer all-youth camping program (except Campfirmation) will be taking a break in 2013 while we make a careful assessment of our program offerings and 50 year old facilities. We know young campers love Koinonia and want to come again.
So why let Koinonia wait... come as a family! New opportunities are being offered for families -- even aunts, uncles & grandparents -- to come and enjoy this special place together.
Most years, Koinonia offers sleep-away youth camp during July.
Youth can attend as individuals, or as groups. Koinonia's young adult staff provide the program and supervision... as well as serving as role models.
Join us in this wilderness setting to discover relationships, build skills, develop leadership, and let God grow our faith.
Examples of Summer Youth Camp programs include: Campfirmation, Crosstrek, Bear Cubs, Pathfinders, and Staff-in-Training.
Great for first time campers! Recommended for youth entering 2nd-5th grades.
Be curious like a bear and explore during our week of fun. Get a taste of all forms of camp life; games, crafts, swimming, hiking, and even a cook-out or two.
Excellent for our “slightly-experienced” campers! Recommended for youth entering 4th-6th grades.
Build your confidence and skills!
Participate in games and crafts. Learn to really camp...cook your own meals over a fire. Explore the outdoors, learn to canoe and kayak, test your arm at archery, and even take day trips to Leni Lenape or Homestead!
