Come to a weekend full of fun! You and a friend can pick a bunk in our retreat building and join other youth and staff as we explore a taste of camp life. Our staff will lead hikes, games, canoeing (weather permitting), Bible Study, and even an old-fashioned hot dog roast… complete with S’Mores! Meals are provided by the camp, you just need to bring yourself, a sleeping bag, and lots of enthusiasm as we laugh and play together.
Winter Confirmation Retreat: Just For Life!

Lutheran World Relief Quilting Service Retreat
March 30-April 2, 2008 (Sun – Wed) $130 per person, double occupancy
Giving a quilt, gives a home! Help make a difference...
Lorraine Keller (quilting teacher, and author) will lead us and together we will cut, pin, sew and tie. No previous quilting skills required! Meals include Monday breakfast through Wednesday lunch. In addition to quilting, there will be devotional and worship opportunities. Plus, some may like to work on new quilts for Koinonia beds as well!
PS—Spouses are welcome to come and do service projects as well! Let us know you’re coming and we’ll be ready with needed projects.
Quilting Weekend – Mariner’s Compass Pattern
March 7-9th, 2008 $160 per person, double occupancy
This year’s pattern will be the “Mariner’s Compass”! Our retreat leader, Bonnie Lindsay (quilt designer, liturgical fabric artist, and quilting teacher), is returning for her 9th annual retreat at Koinonia. All skill levels are welcome! Join us for uninterupted sewing and fellowship and enjoy the gifts of Koinonia!
Golf Outing – 8th Annual Charity Tournament!
2007 Charitable Golf Outing was a huge success raising $20,830 campership funds in memory of Ray Johannesson and Charlie Vorstadt. Look forward to another great event in July, 2008!

Thanksgiving Retreat Nov. 26-28, 2008 (Wed – Fri)
Your family is invited to share in fun and fellowship as we focus on our many blessings. Housing is at the Conference Center or Retreat Cabins, and the retreat includes time to enjoy the 1200 acres as well as worship, relaxation, and, of course, a traditional Thanksgiving dinner together.

Retreat Cabin Rates:
Adults - $70 per person
Youth 5-16 years are half price.
