Koinonia 2010 Youth Programs
Wilderness Youth Camp! (Sleep-away Camp) Bear Cubs - Great for the first time campers! Bring a friend and be curious like a bear to explore our week of fun! Sample all forms of camp life: games, crafts, swimming, hiking, & even a cook-out or two!
Build your confidence and skills! Learn to really camp… cook over a fire, explore, participate in games and crafts, learn to canoe and kayak, test your arm at archery, and even take day trips to Leni Lenape or Homestead program sites.
Campfirmation - Bringing Confirmation and Camp together!
Trek through Koinonia’s 1200 acres and take a trip on the Delaware River! Focus on team building, friendships, and time together. Includes opportunities for low ropes course and Chapel Rock high ropes activities as well. Staff-In-Training (SIT) - Learning and Leading!
New! Break-up your camp sessions with a weekend retreat. This retreat will be full of activities and allow time to relax and renew between camp sessions. Special resource leaders will be joining our staff team to provide new specialized activities. Remember, with our “Multiple Session Discount” this retreat is only $125! So… Bring your sleeping bag and join us this summer! Wilderness Youth Campers live in and base their activities from two areas:
Retreat Cabins – Year-round cabins with electricity and showers in the cabins - often used for younger campers. Cabin groups are arranged according to age, gender and program choices. Each cabin has a full-time adult counselor living and working with them throughout their time at camp. Youth attending camp with a friend can request to be in each other’s cabin group. Please indicate this information on the Registration form under “Special Needs”.
