JJ walked in to Koinonia the night before the 1st 5K in 2015 with the biggest smile on his face and ready to race. He expressed his loving thoughts about Koinonia and our cross. He was excited to participate in our 5K. He participated in 2015, 2016 and 2017. JJ brought so many new faces to Koinonia. He was our guest of honor in 2016. His wife, Kristen was our guest of honor in 2017. Their son, James attends our day camp program.
On December 30, 2017 JJ lost his courageous battle with GBM (Glioblastoma). His light, love, smile and strong passion to love and support community will always stay in our hearts.
