RELAX. PRAY. PLAY.

Koinonia is a place that renews and feeds both body and soul.  We tailor your experience to meet your specific needs.  You are also welcome to develop your own plan for your time here.

REFLECT.

MEDITATE.

PRAY.

The St. Francis of Assisi Garden at the Kairos Conference Center and nearby Meditation Trail offer small spaces devoted to reflection and prayer. On our 1,200 acres you will find an abundance of trails leading to restful places such as the Chapel in the Pines and Icthus, the waterfront beach area, the Chapel of Friends, Chapel of Mission, Beaver Cove and Pathfinder Field.  Homestead Village is another area that harkens to a time long ago when life was less “plugged in” than as it is today.

PLAY

For those desiring a more active experience, we have group and individual offerings such as the Lakeside Fire Ring or Rafters for fellowship and toasting marshmallows, kayaking or canoeing in the lake to such places as Blueberry Island (yes, there are blueberries for picking in season), swimming, hiking,  visits to the farm and challenge courses.

Life is equally as vigorous in the colder winter months, when the low temperatures bring people together in broomball, football, cross-country skiing on the trails and across the frozen lake, snowshoeing, ice skating and snow tubing down by the lake.   The option to cozy up by the fire place with a hot cup of cocoa or coffee is always available.

OTHER RELAXATION

There is time to hike, go on pontoon boat rides, receive massages and participate in many other activities.  Card games, puzzles, talent shows and lively conversation are also options.
