Camp at a Glance
In today’s fast-paced world, kids often find themselves immersed in scheduled activities chosen by adults, missing out on crucial life skills. Koinonia Nature Camp aims to change that narrative. At our camp, kids ages 4-15 collaborate with staff in a fully outdoor environment to craft their own schedules, fostering problem-solving, time management, flexibility, frustration tolerance, and conflict resolution. Beyond being a play space, our camp is where campers build a sense of belonging, develop life skills, and create lasting memories.
Daily Schedule
Camp runs from 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday from June 29th through August 14th. Aftercare is available from 3:30pm - 5:00pm for an additional fee.

(Note: We have very limited opportunities available for families that rely on Koinonia for child care.
For additional camp options beyond August 14th, please reach out to mike@koinoniany.org)
Every day, campers move through four, one-hour-long activity blocks. During each block, kids will be offered a choice of at least 3 different activity sessions such as arts and crafts, fishing, swimming, or imaginative play. If they don't like any of those options, they can choose to hang out in our free play area and make their own fun alongside our fully trained staff!
All that play makes kids hungry, so breakfast and lunch are included in the cost of camp every day!

The Town of Highland graciously provides a grant to Koinonia to offset part of the cost of camp for Town of Highland residents. This year, the total grant is $25,000. For residents, Koinonia will apply an $85 per camper per week credit from this amount on a first come, first served basis until funds are exhausted.

If your family is able to pay the full amount instead, please consider doing so as this will allow us to serve more campers!

Camp is for Everyone
Child care is expensive, and we believe a quality camp experience should be available to every child. Scholarships are available while they last!
We also partner with the Sullivan County Child Care Council to help offset the cost of camp for families who qualify. Email Mike to find out more! - mike@koinoniany.org
